Operating out of Morro Bay,
we offer sportfishing, whale watching, scenic tours and
burials at sea.
The "Rita G" is a 50' Uniflite with an experienced
crew that is devoted to making your trip successful, memorable
and comfortable.
Captain Michele Leary brings 17 years of
local experience and is a third generation captain on both
sides of the Rowleys and Gartrells! The crew of "Rita G"
is knowledgeable, professional and courteous and will always
put your safety above all else.
On board "Rita G" we offer
tackle, rental rod, fishing license, fish cleaning, and
full galley service. Bait and coffee are free (not to be
used together!).
If whale watching is what you are here
for, there is an excellent chance of spotting grey and humpback
whales up close throughout the year. Humpback whales come
to the Central Coast every summer to feed on huge schools
of sardines and anchovies and stay through late fall. California
Grey whales pass right through Estero Bay on there long
west coast migration during the winter and spring months.
There are also many sea lions, seals, sea otters, dolphins
and birds. Our whale watching trips are guaranteed! If we
don't find them you get a free pass to go again.
