We actually met on the internet in a chat room.  Bart was known as HoustonNiceGuy72 and Megan was DansTcher.  Megan was interested in burning CDs for her dance studio, but was having trouble with her CD burner.  Bart, the nice guy he is, offered to help her out.  We began talking about websites and in the course of things a wonderful friendship began. Both of us were in unhappy marriages and spent countless hours helping each other out with our problems.

  Many people, co-workers, the drill team, students, and the like tried to convince us to start dating, but we didn't want to mess up a wonderful friendship.  Finally after long discussions, we decided to try dating.  Our first date was on December 20^th, 2003 at the wedding of Tommy & Jennifer Penders.  Next, Bart surprised Megan with tickets to the Houston Ballet to see the Nutcracker.  From that point on our relationship grew.

God has truly blessed our broken roads.
