Calhoun
County

The Goal of the Calhoun County United Way is to provide support for health and human service programs that improve the quality of life in our communities.

For almost 52 years Calhoun County United Way has been bringing together people and resources to improve lives within our community. As the leading nongovernmental health and human services partner, we provide the best way for people to give back to their communities and help others in their time of need.

Health and human service issues can rarely be solved with a quick fix. In order to create sustained changes, we must take a comprehensive approach:

United Way does more than raise money and fund agencies. We develop programs to fill social service gaps, advocate for policy change, raise awareness about critical issues and more--whatever is necessary to meet critical health and human service needs in our community.

United Way doesn't work alone. We collaborate with agencies, schools, businesses, faith-based groups, the government, donors and other concerned community members to make sure support networks and community systems are functioning well and helping people succeed.

United Way stays focused on what matters most—results for individuals, and over time, for the community. We create measurable impact that cannot be achieved by any one agency or organization alone.

By supporting the United Way Community Safety Net Fund, you create long term solutions that improve lives and build stronger communities.
